Worst customer service experience ever. When called to advise room given was across the hall from outside door and next to housekeeping, asked to switch rooms because of noise. Front desk lady said we could leave if unhappy. So disappointed since we have been coming...MoreOur apologies, this certainly doesn't sound like the level of service we're known for. Could you shoot us further details regarding your stay, including the specific lodging property you stayed at, to [email protected]? We'd like to look into this a bit more.

We went for two hours. Had a blast the entire time. We tried a double tub with our 6 year old and traded it in for two singles. That just better suited our needs. And she eventually had fun going alone! Great activity and will do again.

I have to admit to approaching the breakfast ride with some trepidation. I don't particularly like horses but wanted to treat the family to a U.S. horseback experience. Furthermore, my feeling was that spending in excess of $300 was fairly outrageous and incredibly extravagant. However, from start to finish I have to say that I was won over by the service forwarded. Craig, our wrangler, was first class. He was fun, informative and we all felt incredibly comfortable with him leading the party. The breakfast was enjoyed by all, the wranglers cooked up a storm (great pancakes) and entertained us throughout. Our route took us through woodland, meadows and offered some stunning scenery. We were visiting from England and in our three weeks in Colorado we undertook all sorts of fun and engaging activities but the horseback riding was my family's favourite. May, my 10 year old loved every minute of the ride, she particularly liked Craig who she said was 'the nicest person in Colorado'! That either says a lot about Craig or Colorado!! Anyway, from someone who isn't a horse fan and who doesn't like being taken for a ride....financially...I have to say I'd do it all over again. Thanks for a great experience.

We arrived early, parked right at the top and ALL got a tube.
This was ONE of the highlights to our Colorado vacation.
I asked the person giving out tubes if 90 minutes was enough, only to find out for myself that it was more than enough !!
Highly recommended.

Went here with a fairly adventurous 14yo, exceedingly cautious 12yo, and super adventurous 11yo. And me, thinking of myself as a brave, outgoing 46yo mom! We all really enjoyed this place, spent almost all our time on the ropes course. The staff does a thorough job of explaining the safety procedures and how the safety clip system works.

There were only two other kids on the course while we were there. I could see it being a problem if the place is really crowded, but they do take reservations. My fairly adventurous daughter did every single course on both the low and high level. My exceedingly cautious nephew ended up doing most of the lower level courses. He said he was scared, but completed every course he started. My crazy adventurous daughter turned out to be more cautious, and she absolutely loved it. I only did the lower level courses, and some were downright scary!

Be sure to wear good athletic shoes and comfy clothing. Tshirts are best because the harness is very tight.

There is a nice little playground right there too, and all the kids enjoyed that afterwards.

We visited in a week that ranged from -8 to 19 degrees. As much fun as the snow is, we needed a break. Bring your own towel, and enjoy the giant jacuzzi, where you can watch your kids slide and play in the waterpark area. The steam room and sauna are also fantastic. The water play area is geared towards younger kids (6 and under), but my older ones had a good time. Afterwards, sit by the fire in the lobby and play some board games. $38 for the four of us and well worth it! I only wish they had more open tumble times, because the kids really wanted to check out the trampoline.

This was a nice trail to take a short hike on our first day. It allowed us to adjust to the altitude before taking on more aggressive trails. Other reviewers have commented on the road noise, but I don't recall that it was an issue; it was a nice place for our first hike in the area!
