Recently rented a 4WD from Anthony at Atlas 4WD. An absolutely excellent experience. Anthony was very friendly, thorough in the safety briefing and very helpful with tips and guides - he even gave us a loan of an Esky as we forgot ours. The 4WD itself was clean, in tip top condition and drove through the sand like a hot knife through butter. All in all an absolutely great experience and service from Atlas.

We had the perfect 4wd Toyota Land-cruiser for a family of 4, everything is ready to go from Tyre pressure to vehicle height. I would definitely recommend hire from here, also the ferry ride and then drive up the beach from Rainbow Beach to Fraser is fabulous.

Amazing company, would 10/10 recommend for an easy, stress free trip to visit Fraser Island. They helped us pick the perfect car for 6 people and despite our doubt of us all fitting with all our camping gear, they were right and it was a comfortable journey with more than enough room. The car took us everywhere we needed, even to Indian heads where we were warned lots of people get bogged in. The staff here we super friendly, and make the whole experience even easier! The pricing was the best we’ve seen compared to lots of other companies and well worth it for how much we enjoyed our long weekend. We’re already planning our next trip with them and if you’re thinking of doing the same, these guys are the company to do it with!
