What to do and see in Formentera, Balearic Islands: The Best Things to do

July 29, 2021 Kandra Bartel

You may have to fly into Ibiza's airport to get to Formentera, but a vacation here is the antithesis of a wild week in Ibiza. You'll reach Formentera by ferry, and you'll find a quiet, peaceful little island with natural beauty to spare. Rent a scooter or bike to take you from beach to beach.

Formentera has some stunning beaches but this little cove is amazing. From SAN Ferran head towards La Mola, turn right at TUI Maryland Resort, follow the road to the end and park up. Turn left on the beach and take the elevated footpath past the hotel towards the rocks. Keep going (10 mins tops) and you will come across this amazing small beach, be early or your sitting on the rocks ADULTS ONLY!! due to the steep climb to the bottom and the walk to get there which goes very close to some steep drops sometimes I would suggest this isn’t a place for kids, also their really is no space for them to play. The snorkelling is amazing, so many fish. If you are visiting Formentera and like sunbathing and snorkelling then this is 100% a must... love love love
