New World Mall

Reviewed By Worldresident33 - Atlanta, United States

When you enter the New World Mall it has several floors with retail stores and a robust Asian supermarket. The foodcourt is located on the lower level of the mall. This is the hidden gem of the mall. There you will find a wide array of stalls with a diverse selection of authentic Asian cuisine where the locals come to eat. PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT MUST IF NOT ALL VENDORS TAKE CASH ONLY. Towards the very back of the foodcourt tucked away in the corner is stall L25. We have traveled throughout Asia and outside of Asia, eating dumplings, while not Asian, we feel we know sufficient general knowledge to be able to identify a good dumpling. These dumplings are very good. The ladies prepare them fresh and the ingredients are delicious. The price point is extremely reasonable allowing you to purchase them if nothing else to get a taste for them. I do not believe you will be disappointed. Please note that these are traditional dumplings so they are "boiled" not fried. The ladies are very hard working, you get the added bonus of being able to watch them do their special technique of creating the dumpling. They are very nice and provide excellent customer service. We will definitely be going back when in town again. We loved the experience.
