Get up close with an amazing array of fish while snorkeling, diving or fishing in the warm turquoise waters. Creeks, coral and costumed spectacles are other lures along the way. We are so grateful we got to do this before the coronavirus shut everything down. Fabulous history and fabulous birds ( magnificent frigate birds, sooty terns, etc)..The boat ride over is pleasant with breakfast and lunch provided and info from a guide...This was a bucket list item and it exceeded all expectations!

We go to Key West once a year and always make it a point to stop in on Jennifer at 7 Artists. She's the best - knowledgeable, friendly and just down right nice! Every year we take home a print of a local Key West artist...Come to think of it, our home is now an extension of our favorite 7 Artists Gallery.

Old Road Gallery

An Art Gallery featuring resident artists Dwayne & Cindy King as well as other local Keys artists. An attached workshop where visitors can watch Dwayne & Cindy create and a tropical hardwood garden with winding pathways adorned with sculptures and surprises.

Reviewed By Gizzards

Old Road Gallery is at Mileage Marker 88.8. It is an art studio owned by Dwayne King (copper & brass) and Cindy King (pottery) They also have on display several other artists products. The store is small, but packed with beautiful one-of-a-kind items. Cindy gave us a tour and suggested we visit the gardens. We really enjoyed the Sculpture Garden - full of wonderfully whimsical corners with functional seating, broken pottery pieces and several of the neighbors roosters & chickens! I inquired about a ceramic butter bell and there was one, but I already had one that was similar. I ended up purchasing aSecret Wooden Box for $18.00. Definitely stop in and be sure to see the garden!

Island Dolphin Care

Island Dolphin Care is a 501(c).3 committed to bringing purpose to the lives of marine mammals that cannot survive in the wild WITHOUT exploiting them. IDC brings purpose & financial support to our dolphin family by offering non-profit therapy programs to children with special needs & veterans with PTSD, while working to educate guests about ocean conservation & the protection of marine mammals. We offer educational courses on Marine Science, as well as tours of our facility & experiences that teach you how to help marine mammals & the global ocean environment. We implement a 100% No Breeding Policy. We DO NOT offer public “swim with dolphins” programs. We DO NOT do theme park type-shows. Our facility is an ocean lagoon, NOT a pool. Our goal is to find ways to make their lives even better, while changing the lives of those in need along the way. You can support our efforts by coming for a visit! Book a tour or an educational experience & spend the day with us!!

Reviewed By jblockstein - Takoma Park, United States

I visited IDC for a tour this past week. Joe was my tour guide and gave me a detailed and in-depth tour of the facilities. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and welcoming, from the husband and wife team that run IDC to all of the trainers and therapists... and of course the Dolphins themselves! This is a very special place that is truly changing people's lives and it is clear that everyone working there believes in the mission and finds meaning in the work they are doing. A tour of IDC would be well worth your time to see and learn about their 8 beautiful dolphins and the great work they and the humans of this facility are doing to help some of those who are in the greatest need.
