Ah, the Trillium; it's a great place to spend a couple of hours, at the movies. The theatre is nice, and the staff is efficient, too!. Of course we enjoy the popcorn and diet coke, since it's our movie "comfort" food! The parking is handy, and the seats are comfortable.
Glad to have a nice theatre in our area!

Great Lakes National Cemetery

What a beautiful cemetery for all of our servicemen! It is very well cared for and offers the most dignified setting ever! Just love it! One thing though that seems odd is that not all of the headstones contain darkened letters that are legible. Some have been left unpainted and this should be uniform for all of the sections, in my opinion.

Linden Mills

This is the most historic building in the town of Linden, Mi. This building is the reason that this town exists in this location. The water-powered mill (and the millpond) is very scenic. There is a nice park across from the mill with a band shelter for summer concerts.

Parshallville Cider Mill

Reviewed By Laura T - Detroit, Michigan

My friend and I like to try a different Cider Mill each year. So we drove out to Parshallvile Cider Mill. They have good size parking lot where you go for a short walk over a wooden bridge to see a lovely setting among the creek, trees and Grist Mill. The was not very long here. After a short 15 to 20 minute wait we got inside and ordered our cider and donuts. The donuts are smaller here but they are delicious. Crispy on the outside moist on the inside. They also sell pies, spreads and preserves. This is a historical site as they have a sign outside to tell the history of the place. Picnic tables, benches are available in Park like setting on the side of the building. A band was playing music when we first got there. Nice touch.

Take a relaxing step back into time by paying this Grist Mill a visit.

Mt. Holly Ski and Snowboard Resort

Reviewed By canaussie95 - Tecumseh, Canada

We chose to ski at Mt Holly on New Years Eve with our teenage daughter and her 2 friends.
We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and number of runs. It was certainly more than we expected for a ski resort on th northern fringes of Metro Detroit.
We live in Windsor, Ontario and it only took us 1.25 hours to get here door to door.
This is a definite option for those who live in Metro Detroit or Southwest Ontario looking for a days skiiing and not wanting to drive 3-6 hours.
There were not that many people skiing so there were basically no wait times at the lifts.
We didn't stick around for the evening festivities as families needed to stay in the slope side lounge which was pretty dead. There was a separate adults only party in the main lounge.

Serendipity Day Spa Linden

Reviewed By Justin W - Highland, Michigan

Located in the charming little town of Linden Michigan, the Serendipity Day Spa is located in what appears to be a historic home, with some modern upgrades to create an outstanding atmposphere.

Been here a few times for couples massage which was outstanding. They also do manicures, pedicures and facials. You really should check them out. When your done drive up the road to Fenton for a lunch/dinner with your sweet heart.

Serendipity also serves alcohol so while your getting your fingers or toes done you can enjoy an adult beverage. I could see that a bridal party could also have a good time here.

Well worth the trip, and your certainly worth the pampering.
