This was a super fun birthday gift! I've done high ropes courses and ziplining in the the past and none of them were any where near the degree of challenge of this course. Both the physical and the mental strength were put to the test. The coaches and the fellow participants were all so positive and encouraging. Definitely be sure to wear long pants and long sleeves like they recommend to as there are several obstacles where you would get rope burn otherwise. Be sure to hydrate properly and BREATHE! You'll have a blast!

T.M. Goodwin WMA - Broadmoor Marshes

This area seems to go by different names for some unknown reason. I was looking for the Stick Marsh but the GPS was having trouble with the location and kept pointing me in different directions. Anyway, we managed to figure it out. One possible issue to keep in mind is the first 5 miles on a County maintained dirt road. It can be a “washboard” driving experience and was extremely dusty when we drove it. If you have a truck, it would be a better drive, although not required. Many people were driving SUV’s including yours truly. The last mile is new pavement and the parking area at the end of the road is nice and there are toilet facilities. They’ve done a nice job with it. The gates were closed to the back roads, as they are only open on Monday and Thursday, but there is still much you can see. There is a large bird rookery (one of the largest in the state) a short walk from the parking lot that is loaded with Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and other assorted waterfowl. It’s perfect for photographing birds in flight. As we travel around the state photographing wildlife, this location is now on our spring rotation. Enjoy.

St Sebastian River Preserve State Park

Reviewed By 527katrinan - Cape Canaveral, United States

Today my daughter and I saw rowing teams, horseback riders, people fishing, hiking, camping, botanizing, smiling park staff and volunteers, kestrel, dolphin, deer, gopher tortoise, some of the most beautiful cypress trees and pine flat woods I have ever seen. And a family who brought cardboard boxes to slide down the dike spoil hills. Roads are well maintained and restrooms (even portable ones) were very clean. Thank you Florida Park Service
