What to do and see in Favoriten District, Vienna Region: The Best Fun Activities & Games

May 21, 2022 Janette Largent

In Vienna, the coffee house isn’t just a hangout: it’s an institution. Lingering over a newspaper with a pastry and a strong espresso drink is, according to UNESCO, officially a Viennese cultural pastime. Walk off your slice of Sachertorte with a self-guided tour of the city’s stunning traditional, Secessionist, and modern architecture, such as the Imperial Palace, the State Opera House, the Kirche am Steinhof, or the Kunsthistorisches Museum, an exercise in ornate geometry.

Monza Karting

I was here with my partner for a Sunday morning session, where you can drive 5x10 minutes for 45€ officially, but at spot it was 50€, because you must purchase a license. Anyway, the price is still good. That was our very first experience and we both enjoyed it. The guys were pretty quick, but the children there often collide without reason, potentially ruining the fun of others.
