A lovely little spot for quite a nice champagne. We tasted and then purchased a 2015 vintage blanc de noirs. It felt like being in someone’s house. It was slightly awkward being just two of us for the tasting but of course a little champagne relieves the tension. In nicer weather it would be fun to sit outside.

It was a hot afternoon and it was wonderful to sit in the beautiful shaded garden sampling 3 of their champagnes. The explanations for each type of champagne was interesting too. All were amazing! So good I treated us to a few purchases in the shop. :-)

This champagne boutique/tasting room is located in a great part of town, right near the Avenue de Champagne. The owner was very friendly, fluent in French and English, and had some very good champagnes. We had a great time tasting and speaking with him! C'est un boutique très sympa avec des champagnes intéressants. Le patron est bien gentil !

Avenue de Champagne

This street has a quality like no other. Lines with famous Champagne houses and you can’t fail to be impressed. Some offer tours and some you can simply site in their gardens and enjoy some Champagne. However you can just as good Champagne out in the villages with the smaller producers. Shame that their isn’t a coffee house to relax rather than downing Champagne all the time.
