This champagne boutique/tasting room is located in a great part of town, right near the Avenue de Champagne. The owner was very friendly, fluent in French and English, and had some very good champagnes. We had a great time tasting and speaking with him! C'est un boutique très sympa avec des champagnes intéressants. Le patron est bien gentil !

Great service and local tips, short winery tours recommended. Champagne tasting daily. The only bike rental in town, as far as I could find, and rode one of their functional, low end, mountain bikes around the Tour de France social ride course.

Champagne De Castellane

I guess when you are in Epernay you have to visit at least one champagne house so on our B&B owners recommendation we came here. I was pleasantly surprised. When we got there I think we were the only people there and we booked a tour. We had our own personal tour guide. I found it genuinely interesting and I’m not a wine or champagne drinker. The tunnels and volts are impressive and the tour ends with a look at the production line. There is a museum on the main level and you can take a hike to the top of the tower if you cant manage the 170 odd steps. Worth the money and worth a visit
