Starlight Drive-In

Reviewed By satverous - Frankfort, Illinois

Went on a Monday night and alot of locals were there which was nice to see. I was concerned about the party crowd but that group seemed to be up high on hill and were not a distraction. Smelled a small amount of pot in the air but nothing to bad. Place was fun with a beautiful backdrop. Pirates of the Caribbean the third was just ok.

Caravan farm is something that everyone should experience. Live theatre is so rewarding and personal. It's always good for a laugh. Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy the countryside before you go in and then have a glass of wine or beer from their concession. I always recommend caravan farm to all my friends and family!

Farmer John's Market

Our authentic farmers’ market has fabulous locally produced goods — including fresh fruits and veggies, pasture raised pork and lamb; and backyard raised chicken. You will also find baked goods, preserves, many specialty food items such as locally made artisan cheese and unique local crafts. We offer an ice cream parlour, cafe, and tours of our SPCA Friendly robotic barn (fees apply).

I loved the clean, rustic interior and the set up of the store. It was very cool to be able to see the automated milking system in the dairy barn attached to the back of the store. The hired help were lovely and very friendly. The owners/management, however, need to tune in to what their customers want/need. The female that served us seemed almost put out by having to serve us and make our coffee. She was almost arrogant in her attitude towards us. I own and operate a retail business and I know what true customer service is. If they want their business to grow, a little friendly customer service would go a long way in making that happen.

Enderby Cliffs Provincial Park

Reviewed By Victoriabound - Vernon, Canada

Decided last minute to hike Enderby cliffs due to the fire situation near Kelowna. Instead of doing The Kettle Creek hike. What a fantastic hike the Enderby Cliffs provides. We started out at noon and it took us two and a half hours to get up to the top. There is one area where you arrived and are exposed to a beautiful view, we were ready to stop there as my legs were aching at this point. But too young ladies came down from above and when I asked them if that last view was worth it they said yes. It took us an extra half-hour to get to the final viewpoint that extra kilometer and well worth it. You can see shuswaps in the background on one side. Then Okanagan Lake from the other side and everything in between! The trail seems to be 90% shaded with canopy which is wonderful. Hiked it August 25th and found no mosquitoes. Would highly recommend bringing minimum 1 liter of water per person
It took us approximately 5 hours total round trip with a half hour break up at the top. Pace was slow and steady, with a few short water sipping brakes. I plan to do it again in a couple of days with my brother, but this time we'll have walking sticks! Found the downhill part was more strenuous as it tends to be harder on the knee joints. A very enjoyable hike overall and well worth the effort. And while you're in the area, hit up Sutherlands at the North End of Enderby. It's Bakery Pizzeria combined gas station fabulous Bakery for treats after you've earned them!

Waterside Winery

This was our first stop on our wine tour through the okanagan - coming from South Africa we do tend to be quite picky at times about our red wines. And the selection here was great- loved the Foch! It's great for a barbeque - smooth with just the right amount of flavour! A definite must do just for that!! We didn't try the white wines -but left with a case of red wines and will be back.

Courtyard Gallery

Courtyard Gallery is a collective of over 20 local artists who have come together to exhibit and sell their paintings, pottery, stained glass, sculptures and many more works of art.

Reviewed By dragondiana - Okanagan Valley

This gallery is an artists' co-operative. 25 artists display and sell their works here: paintings in all mediums, pottery, stained glass, jewellry, wood sculptures, photographs. The shows change every 6 weeks. There are also beautiful blank cards by the artists for sale. A gem in the little town of Enderby since April 2013. A must see if you are in the area or driving through. Nov.15-Dec 24 is their Little Treasures Show featuring smaller paintings and items including hand-painted Christmas tree balls. Reasonably priced items, great quality and diversity.

Edge of the Earth Vineyard

Reviewed By jointhefuntour - Calgary, Canada

Was on a visit with my family in B.C. and decided to do a small wine tour. Edge of the Earth was on our list, and as the saying goes - we saved the best for last
Our host, Kowyn, was knowledgeable and had many stories to relate about the vineyard. If you go - ask about Argus
It was a very enjoyable wine tasting experience, the Northern vineyards have their own distinct flavors. I was happy to be able to take home a couple bottles of wine

Deep Creek Tool Museum

Reviewed By Findmereading - Edmonds, Washington

If you like antiques & tools, plan a visit to the Deep Creek Tool Museum north of Enderby. The museum is a wonderful history of the ingenuity and progression of tools through the years. We have never seen so many tools in one place! The owner/collector guides you through the grounds, plus floor to ceiling packed barn and garage, explaining and demonstrating as you go. He has tools from the 1900's on up used in logging, farming, building and homemaking. From giant cast iron drill presses, and two-man chain saws, to a mechanical egg weigher and the hand-turn rope maker. Even an antique knitting machine that knits a sock in twenty minutes! There is something for everyone. You are sure to see tools you have never seen before, and some you'll remember from great grandma's place. Watch for the Paul Bunyan sized lawn mower in front. You can't miss it.

Drift

Reviewed By HolidayKojak - Alberta, Canada

Went with friends to this meandering river that flows through Enderby. What a nice place to spend an afternoon, the locals use the down stream side for there dogs to run and play and get cooled off so keep that in mind. It's a very busy spot where many locals come and spend a afternoon floating or swimming.
