It is located 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley region of the state. It also lies 50 miles (80 km) north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's largest city, and 20 miles (32 km) west of the Delaware River. Emmaus is located in the Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton, PA-NJ Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the New York City-Newark, New Jersey, NY-NJ-CT-PA Combined Statistical Area.

Owner of bar greeted customers, very nice. And he helped the bartenders too. Everybody friendly. I recommend this establishment. Music super too!

We visit The Trapp Door at least twice a year since they've been established and have yet to be disappointed (thankfully). The seasonal changes of menu along with the seasonal updates of the various brews and unique flavored personalized drinks keep us coming back for more. The staff has always been attentive. We've attended special events (German festival for example - unique foods for the event were delicious!!) If you want to go, they also have nights with live music. Definitely pick a time to go and you won't be disappointed.

Have not been there for 20 years but it was great. Went during the week for a 7pm showing of 1917. Love the old decor and how nicely it is kept. The chairs are not comparable to what you find in other movie theaters yet they add to the overall ambiance. Will definitively come back, the prices are great and service is old town fashion. Thumbs up for keeping this movie theater running
