If it isn't raining and your destination is along the waterway, Destin Water Taxi is FANTASTIC! Crystal and Jimmy are precise about pick-ups and communicate well, and it's a great way to soak in the Florida atmosphere and not have to worry about finding a place to park (especially if you are going to the Boardwalk, snorkeling, boating, fishing, etc.) Highly recommended!

Oh my goodness!!!! This place is awesome and such a wonderful experience. As soon as you walk into the Redbird Art Experience, you're in awe of your surroundings. This place is so unbelievably cool. The whole concept behind this place is just fantastic. There are massive amounts of beads, glass, bottles, rocks, ribbons, etc... for you to use to create your masterpiece. Robin was so helpful and assisted me with everything. This is a great idea for kids and adults, especially if it happens to be a rainy day in Destin. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely return and take family with me!!!!!!

Destin History & Fishing Museum

Experience the historic and educational exhibits detailing early Destin life from the 1830s. Witness the birth and evolution of a fishing industry that has become the heritage of the "World's Luckiest Fishing Village". View over 60 mounts of fish caught by anglers in Destin waters and learn about local fish and fishing. See the restored "Primrose", Destin's last seine boat and the original first post office building that served the early pioneers.

This is a small very nice museum just off of 98 in Destin. The exhibits were first rate. The staff are volunteers who have lived their entire lives in Destin. They are very knowledgeable. The local fishing, fishing history, and pretty much anything of interest in the area they can tell you. There is a leader board and some videos of the annual fishing competition that takes place the entire month of october. Very reasonable admission. A few outside exhibits and the old post office building. I've been there twice and will go again.

Crystal clear turquoise water and white sand beaches. Need I say more? The atmosphere at the beach is family friendly, and there are lifeguards in the summer.
