The market has been open every Sunday from 10am-5pm from 11th September 2011, and trades year round. It's a foodie heaven and hosts the best street food in Edinburgh, so whether you're looking for something special for supper, a continental style lunch, or planning a dinner party - the Stockbridge Market will have some new produce for you to try. How about some olives as an aperitif, quality meat or fish with locally grown vegetables, followed by a selection of French cheeses and nutty brown bread, and finish things off with some traditional crepe suzettes or 'latest craze' macaroons or home baked cakes.....Or local jams, cakes and lots of crafts to take home as pressies!!! Eat, meet, great or treat there's something here for everyone, a truely wonderful experience

Very lovely farmer’s market with tons of organic fruits and vegetables. Good prepared food, too. I went expecting to get something to cook for dinner, but left with delicious berries and my lunch. Plus, it’s got Edinburgh Castle as its backdrop - you can’t lose!

The Tron Kirk has stood in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town for almost 400 years. Its towering spire can be seen across the city. Now the building is in a poor state of repair and is included on the Historic Environment Scotland Buildings at Risk Register. Edinburgh World Heritage hopes to save the Tron from further deterioration and secure the future of this beautiful building. In this pretty church there is an exhibition about the Scottish World Heritage Sites next to the tourist information. There is also a nice shop, which specialising in products made in Scotland. But this is so much more then a tourism information an a shop. Beautiful old Kirk in the process of being restored. Its free. Just walk right in. It's really worth it.

Edinburgh's pioneering streetfood market in the heart of Leith

What a place! After the disappointment of the corona cancelling the mighty queens 11 thumping the mhanky mob on Sunday me and a couple of the staunchest guys you’ll meet decided to try this place out and wow! My cousin Billy told me about it and after having a browse on instagram I was instantly sold! The food did not disappoint, I had a buffalo burger and halloumi fries! Both were spot on so much so that I ended up getting another buffalo burger! El buffalo might have been letting us down on the pitch this year but the buffalo burger certainly isn’t! Great selection of beers and the dessert truck offers a brilliant treat at a great price! The live music was also spot on and even managed to get the singer to sing a few tunes for me and the billy boys! WATP
