Stayed at the Arch House on Reynolds Plantation for 4 days. What a fabulous location for a board meeting or indeed any meeting business or social. 6 bedrooms, games floor and more alcohol than the average TGI Fridays.

Not generally available to the public but what a great facility.

What a super cool find in the Oconee area. An absolutely incredible selection of cars that you can see for 5 bucks. Air conditioned so you can go when it's blazing hot and you need to kill time when you are not on the lake. We took the kids and they enjoyed it as well. You can't beat the value.

This is a phenomenal effigy to view, considering how very old it is. It is on the National Registry of Historical Places, which means it should be handicapped accessible. However, one must climb three flights of steps to get to the top. There is a similar effigy about 20 miles due east on state Hwy. 16, entitled the Rock Hawk effigy. If you are going to make the effort to see the Rock Eagle one, you should take the time to see the Rock Hawk one, as well.

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds

The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee offers a new treatment menu showcasing the ESPA product line, updated relaxation lounges, 24-hour access fitness center, expanded women's lounge and enlarged manicure and pedicure room.

I had 2 treatments, the Surrender to Serenity and a facial. Both therapists were excellent and the services were very relaxing. There is citrus water and trail mix and nuts in the lounge waiting area. I think it would be nicer if the locker and dressing area were not so close to the lounge area. It can get loud which disrupts the relaxation.

The prices are high but what you would expect from a luxury hotel spa. They automatically add 22% gratuity so be prepared. It was still a great experience. I will definitely be back.

We are so very proud of the Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton, GA. We are very thankful that this old school was saved and made into a wonderful place for us to gather and celebrate. My Daddy attended this school back in the day and his class picture hangs in the hallway. One room is set up just as it was when school was in session. Our visitor's center is at the end of this building and there are a couple of meeting rooms available. The real diamond in this building is the auditorium with a state of the art sound system for plays, live music and other celebrations that bring our towns people together. During the summer, we also have live music and dancing in the street once a month that we all look forward to. There is no charge to tour the building but as you would expect, there are charges for attending most events. If you are in Eatonton, please stop by and see this beautiful building. It is well worth your time.
