White Square - Fine Books & Art

NOTE: the bookstore will be closed for vacation August 4-10, 2018. White Square - Fine Books & Art is an old-style bookshop nestled in an eclectic area of authors, artists, galleries, restaurants, and colleges in the Pioneer Valley, on the western edge of Mt. Tom. We serve as a literary resource for our community and as a destination point for collectors. We sell new, used, and rare books and art and host events and conversations with both local and national authors and artists. We're thrilled to bring the ambience of a literary salon to Easthampton's Cottage Street Cultural District and to live and work in this wonderful city!

Manhan Rail Trail

We live about 1/4 mile from the Manhan Rail Trail. It is an everyday resource that we love. It is a wonderful place to walk our English Setter, Sandie. If you walk your dog it must be on a leash at all times and you really need to clean up after your pet. The trail provides “poop” bags in a couple locations. I also run on the trail 4 days a week. It is so enjoyable to be away from vehicle traffic. The trail is well maintained, much of the work is done by volunteers.

Real nice craft brew pub in East Hampton. Very convenient right off the Mannheim bike trail between Rt 5 and East Hampton. If you are riding through from Belchertown or Northampton this is a great stopping off point. Almost always have a food truck out in the back lot. Very good food as well as craft brews.

Wonderful gathering place for children and adults alike. Indoor park modeled on outdoor parks. Waterfall at one of the entrances. Full bar and good selection of smoothies and snacks and meals. Especially good if you’re looking for a park on a rainy day. Plenty of space and natural light and lots of plants growing.
