Dundrum Town Centre

Reviewed By Michela C

Having lived in Dublin for the last four years, I was used to come to Dundrum Shopping Centre at least once a month, boarding on the 14 bus or the 44 bus. This department store is the biggest in the whole Europe. It is full both of expensive shops such as Brown Thomas, Monsoon, Hollister and Micheal Kors and of low-priced shops such as Penneys, H&M, Zara and Pull and Bear. Moreover, you can also have lunch/dinner there both in a fancy restaurant such as Dunne and Crescenzi or in fast-foods like Mc Donald’s or Nando’s. Near the shopping Centre, there is a cinema and a mini-golfing area. During Christmas time, an ice-skating ring is also provided for visitors. Overall, Dundrum Shopping Centre is well worthy a visit, if you are in Dublin.

Rainforest Adventure Golf

The Rainforest Adventure Golf is located close to Dundrum Shopping Centre. I went there with three friends I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed spending a different Saturday night and I enjoyed playing mini-golf, even if I’m not the best at it. Overall, I highly recommend a visit there.

dlr Mill Theatre Dundrum

Arts and entertainment centre located in the heart of Dundrum Town Centre. A home for culture, the arts, quality entertainment and the local community in Dundrum and South Dublin. This beautiful modern venue (205 seat, Main Auditorium) is located in the Town Square at the heart of Dundrum Town Centre (just by the Mill pond).

We've attended a number of the children's shows in the Mill over the years, the most recent being the Christmas show, "Trouble in the Kingdom of Enchantasia". The theatre has a lovely, intimate feel and the kids always enjoy themselves. Lot's of laughs and the meet and greet with the actors afterwards at the last show was a nice touch. The staff are always professional, friendly and helpful. Plus there's always an interesting art exhibition with pieces for sale in the gallery space.
Definitely recommend a visit if you're looking for a special experience and something different from the usual entertainment for kids on offer.

St Nahi's Church

Reviewed By G and B R - Morecambe, United Kingdom

The church is 18th century, but on the site of an early monastery. In the porch of the church there are two ornate Viking burial slabs, the font where the Duke of Wellington was baptised and a lovely stained glass window by Irish artist Evie Hone. Inside the church, the other windows are also very beautiful and there are altar tapestries made by Lily and Lolly Yeats, the sisters of the poet W.B. Yeats. The church (which is Anglican) is in use, and there is a service at 11.45 a.m. on Sundays. Of particular note is the fine organ music (thanks to the talented, prizewinning organist David Adams). In the graveyard there is a guided tour on App, with a wide variety of graves to visit.
