Telascica Nature Park

Reviewed By Beatriz M - Cologne, Germany

Why hadn’t I heard before about this park? You really need to go there! I took a day trip from Pakostane but probably it is also easy to reach from Biograd na Moru or Zadar. The cliffs are breathtaking and my favourite part was the salt lake, where you can float while small crabs will eat your dead skin. It is not so popular YET so you can go there in the high season and still be not bothered by masses of tourists. It would only be more helpful if there were signs indicating where each thing is. Plus, you need to come with good shoes because there are no paths but only rocks, so coming with flip flops might be slippery. You can easily spend 2-3 hours there. :)

Veli Rat lighthouse

Reviewed By Soccca - Tolmin, Slovenia

We had seen this magnificent lighthouse only from outside and it is really high. While we were there in the evening we could also enjoy a fabulous sunset. Unfortunately, we came there in the sunny afternoon from Veli rat village on foot, but immediately after sunset it became dark and cold, so we had to go back making quick steps :)

This was a real shame. We drove to the beach during our equally disastrous stay on the island expecting golden sand. What we found was completely different. We parked up on the road (the car park is not worth paying for) and walked down what can only be described as a dirt track. When we arrived at the beach we were greeted with piles of rubbish. Plastic bottles, empty cans, discarded swimwear and even used sanitary products were scattered everywhere. The toilets were disgusting! It's only saving grace is that once you've navigated the rocks, some of which can be quite sharp, there is eventually sand to be found out in the sea.
Not worth the visit especially if you intend to pay for the ferry trip from the Mainland for the day.

Lavdara Otok (Lavdara Island)

Reviewed By Shantykisianu - Napoli

Tome Fishing Day Adventures

Reviewed By gaggax - Zagreb, Croatia

We booked a tour to Kornati Island with Tome. We had such a great time at his boat, Tome is a great host, we felt really wellcome at the boat - I loved sitting in front with sea splashing while driving to Kornati and back!
You can spend your time sunbathing in front or in shadow at the back of the boat, however you like.
The trip started in Sali at 9.30AM. We visited the outside cliff of Telascica and then went swimming on Lojisca bay, afterwards we went to Kornati for a swimm and a lunchbreak. After lunch we spent some more time swimming and jumping from the boat and then went back to Sali. We arrived to Sali around 6.00PM.
We had a lovely relaxing day!! I would recommend it to everyone!
The boat takes max 8 people (visitors) - that is great because it's not a big boat with loads of people.
Very relaxing and in touch with the sea!! Loved it!

Cave Strasna Pec

Reviewed By Tünde L - Timisoara, Romania

Obviously it's a subjective opinion, but the road until there and back wasn't worth the otherwise nice cave. For someone who is afraid of hights - don't go. For those enjoying a nice view of the see and driving on a high mountain side on a one way road - it is a nice experience. Oh and the price seems kind of high, considering that the fee for Telascica was only 25 kn (cave: 40 kn)
