Het AGA museum laat de uitvindingen zien van de heer Dalen, een Zweed. Hij vond begin 1900 uit hoe je acetyleengas kon opslaan in cilinders. Deze ging hij gebruiken voor de lampen in o.a. vuurtorens, lichtbakens, treinlampen en militaire lampen. Dit onder het merk AGA. Het Zweedse bedrijf AGA maakte vele producten en was een bloeiend bedrijf. In 2000 werden ineens de aandelen opgekocht.

Had the chance to view wonderful paintings by great Italian painters from the 19th century including Moreli & Manchini. Museums in Florence, Rome etc & private collectors loaned those paintings to the museum. A very well organized exhibition! Rare opportunity to view Italian paintings in the Netherlands

Wonderful small museum about the history of Coevorden. Very nice into-film; interesting exhibits and nice/interseting viewboxes with story-telling (dutch&german only). Very friendly staff.
