We loved The Grand Spa at The Grand America Hotel. At the spa, we felt pampered! The Grand Spa resides in a four-story segment of the hotel. It has a 24-hour fitness center, an indoor and outdoor pool, a steam room, a sauna, and a 17-head shower (which Keith loved). Best of all is the relaxation lounges and attentive and friendly staff.

$4 for a walk-in half hour visit (yes this implies they do take reservations!). There were about 10 cats that call this shelter home. A lot were sleeping, but a few were looking for scratchies, pets and up for a little play time. You can take your coffee in there, but don't pick the cats up - thats rule number one. It was a fun. relaxing time and doesn't even smell like cat poo.

Epic Brewing Company

Epic Brewing Company was founded on one core concept: a passion for strong beer. In the late 2000’s, there weren’t a whole lot of options when it came to high-point beer in Utah. The term ‘high-point’ refers to the alcohol content. A high point beer is so high in ABV that it forbidden from sale in Utah grocery stores and must be sold in state operated liquor stores. Back in ‘09, the cutoff for high-point beer was a whopping 4.0% ABV.

Sandy and his team are very attentive to our ski rental needs. They always provide top rate equipment and go the extra mile. We have used them for over 20 years and always been very pleased! This last trip, when snow was dumping down, Sandy knew we were heading to Solitude to ski for the day. He called us en route to warn us of a 6 vehicle pile up in the canyon that had brought traffic to a halt. We turned around and went to a different ski are as a result and avoided hours of sitting in our truck. Thanks again Sandy and crew!
