Easy to get to, the Light House is lovely, Ocean views are fantastic Well worth the effort to seek it out. For those with difficulty walking the road down from the parking lot is a bit of an incline. There is limited Handicap parking right at the Light House but if you don't have a Handicap plate or pass and have bad knees or feet it may be a little bit of a challenge. Lovely Ocean Views.

I enjoyed the beautiful white sand beaches although you will find piles of the typical beach pebbles around. There is plenty of parking and the views are quite scenic. Quite relaxing and very typically Maine including the very cool water.

This is a great place to take family who would like to run up embankments or peer into crumbling fortress remainders while you read the fascinating history of this fort on the signs. Who would think the worst US naval defeat other than Pearl Harbor took place on the bay you can see below!
