We often eat an early dinner at one of the restaurants on the Boulevard. Lovely sunset view. Great to watch the passing crowd. Many restaurants and food stalls to choose from. Clean!
I only wish there were a really good restaurant there. Unfortunately, to date, all very so so.

Our Lady of Holy Rosary Cathedral is the home of the Diocese of Dipolog, the host diocese of last NCYM 2016. This church witnessed the celebration of the youth ministers of the country in promoting the youth ministry of the bigger Mission of the church.
We attend the sunday mass on our last day of stay. Their dialect used in mass was bisaya. We appreciate the vendors inside and nearby the church because they're very hospitable for us tourist. They trying their best to speak tagalog to communicate with.
You should never skip this church for your visit in Dipolog City.

If you want to challenge yourself , this is a test for those without health problems. it has 3,003 steps to climb plus a 10 to 15 minutes of trekking before reaching the peak.

Blue ocean with much seen in the drift dive. Indeed an untouched beauty. Mr. Jean Paul, from Dakak Beach Resort gave great advise, detailed briefing and shown the awesome dive sites. Great visibility more than 25m horizontally full stretch of corals. From bottom looked up, one is greeted by the sun. The last thing I recalled as I looked back while I was diving was "Wow, amazing"

There are indeed 3,003 concrete steps all the way up Linabo Peak. Along the way are 16 stations of the cross depicting scenes from the life of Jesus. The steps are hugely popular during Holy week, when thousands of locals make the climb up. The steps are quite busy year-round - there's even an elementary school two thirds of the way up! Views from the top are awesome, but we started from the bottom too late in the afternoon; dusk was falling as we arrived on top. Best to start off very early in the morning, at first light, when it's cooler. Better still would be to climb up in the afternoon and camp on top; come down the next morning. You could easily get some locals to carry your equipment! Bring plent of drinking water with you.

Twas an over-30 km travel from Dipolog.
Some parts of the road weren't paved; can be a muddy/slippery ride on a motorcycle if it rained the night before, so be careful.
Upon arriving, we encountered only one person, whom I assumed was the caretaker. Quite a number of steps down, so again, be careful. Damp steps + dead leaves = sprained ankle (Yay me!).
There's a fork on the steps: the left leads to the viewing area of the falls, the right goes to the picnic/bathing area.
There were A LOT of ants in the viewing area (at that time or maybe always, I don't know). I was barely able to take photos because they were aggressively biting me. I had to march in place to deter them then take a quick shot. Not much of a falls, really. Rather lilliputian.
I didn't get to take a dip in the river (or is it brook?) though. Next time.
I would've liked to explore the place more, but I was debilitated by my sprained ankle.
Left the place around 6 pm. There were no lights at all. I had to use my phone.
Was it worth the trip? Not really. Just checking it off my list.
Will I go back? Not anytime soon.
*no network signal there. At least not for Smart or Sun.

Get to one of the most private hidden Beaches in the Philippines! Follow the signs for Sea Breeze cafe / restaurant (always a cool place to hang out for while) off the main National Hiway. From Sea Breeze, just walk south down the beach. Keep on going past the PNP Police Camp.. There's then a 2 meter high sea wall all along, between the sea and the Airport runway, for the next 2 kilometres. This concrete wall guarantees your total privacy and seclusion from everyone else. Skinny dip or whatever, just sunbathe or swim in total seclusion and privacy. The beach is fine soft medium brown sand, the ocean is deep blue and your body could get an all-over tan...

A mini hike in the forest of Cogon Eco-tourism Park.. Nature lovers would like this place. You would stop by a mini zoo with monkeys, birds and other wildlife native to this area on your hike. Be careful on the slippery muddy pathways though. The climax of the hike is reaching the tallest treehouse of Mindanao. Spiral steps going up shivers as you pace higher and higher up until you reach the top. A time for a breather and savor the height of the treehouse while on it. It will give you a bit of adrenaline as you go down because you can see how high you are plus the rocking stairs that would really make you hold the railings a bit tighter.
