A class IV-V whitewater rafting trip on the 10-mile log Upper section of the Youghoigheny river. The "Yough" is world renown for being one of the best rafting experiences in the United States. 38 challenging rapids starting out with class III-IV "Warm-ups" where a guide will go over extensive instruction and safety procedures to the challenging class V "Miracle Mile". expect 3 hours of fun!

On the walking tour you will discover 18 sign markers that explore many of the colorful characters, events and places that helped shape this town. You will learn about the early Native American history, the history of the railroad, logging, mining, and the schools, businesses and people that thrived and made their mark here.
