This is one of the most unique travel experiences in Davao! There is an excellent chocolate museum which includes the opportunity to make your own chocolates! There is an area where love birds will land on your head - we had lunch in the restaurant which was excellent. This is definitely a "must see" if you are going to Davao!

Visit the new temporary location and get amazed by how rich Mindanao culture and heritage is. Get the guided tour and ask for Sir Randy. He is very knowledgeable and informative. I am looking forward to the new 5 storey building that is being constructed in cooperation with the National Museum. I am sure that the museum will be so huge and beautiful! This is a must visit when you go to Davao. Admission is free.

The conference in Davao ended lunch time and we had nothing to do. SM? Robinsons? But we have that in our place also....hmmm... what to do. Let's search for a museum that's open on a Sunday. Lo and behold there's an UPSIDE DOWN MUSEUM near our hotel. There were so many people of various ages waiting in the lobby. Well, our group was composed of minors, students, young adults and older persons. It took about half an hour before we entered the rooms, 5 of them actually. We were so happy because a guide took our photos and taught us how to post them in our FB page. All of us worked hard to make our photos look great. And indeed we had to work hard for it. There were so many visitors that we had to wait our turn in order to enter the next room. Thank you to the guides who made us look beautiful in the photos. A memorable afternoon indeed. Friends, enjoy your time in Davao in this unique museum ..it's an upside down house. It doesn't matter how young or how old you are, it was fun.
