Lava with its pine dotted hill and sudden appearence and disappearence of cloud, Lava is a perfect destination for nature lovers as well as for the adventure tourists. The road to this small hill station with enormous flora of pine is a treat to the eyes. The Buddhist Monastery of Lava is the prime tourist attraction. A visit to this enormous holy site will give one the feeling of spirituality and serenity. A stroll through the road is a refreshing one. Some important tourist attractions like Chhangey Falls, Kolakham, Rishyap, Lolegaon and Kalimpong has made Lava a must visit location.
