This site is right next to the harbour and has a very cheap entry price. The mosaics are everywhere and some you can even walk on as they are mainly outside. Incredible workmanship.

Promenade

We have been taking the children to the sea front for many years. They love the skate board park and have worked there way up from little bikes with stabilisers to the bigger bikes, skate boards or scooters they now bring to play on. They used to like the play areas also but are getting too big for most of the toys. It has been lovely this summer as it is mostly very quiet when we go during the week. I know it gets busier in the evening and at weekends so we avoid the busy times.

Our Annual Walk from Dhyrenia Viewpoint to Ayia Thekla takes us through one of Mother Nature’s finest creations that is Cape Greco. This year after the Lockdown and complete lack of tourism Mother has reclaimed some of her lost vegetation and the area is looking very very green and welcoming. So peaceful and tranquil on this warm January morning. So relaxing it should be on prescription.

Kouklia Arts Centre

Based in a typically Cypriot Village, Kouklia Arts Centre is now spread between three lovely old buildings, the old 'shop' which is now the Gallery and studio - so anything associated with paint and clay -the old stone house, with a beautiful courtyard garden, where we run a range of drawing, painting and craft classes, and our craft shop, which faces onto the Village Square. Wander around an extensive range of traditional and more modern arts and crafts, all hand made in Cyprus,-meet the artists and watch work in creation. The ideal opportunity to pick up 'a unique memento. Or sign up for classes, including sculpture, painting and drawing, silk printing, and much more.
