Cape Grace Wines

Visit one of the great little wineries? Cape Grace Wines is a 'single vineyard' family owned and operated winery. Meet Robert or Karen Karri-Davies at the Cellar Door and discover the insights into being a small producer. You may see some action in the winery. Cape Grace with their handcrafted wines, are generous with the flavour and character of Margaret River. The red wines are hand plunged and basket pressed. Limited quantities of the single vineyard wines are available only from the cellar door. Wines in the range include the flagship Cabernet Sauvignon, an elegant Shiraz, Cabernet/Shiraz - a Classic Australian Blend, a complex wood aged Chardonnay, a dry Chenin Blanc and a delicious Cane Cut Chenin Blanc dessert wine. Very limited production with wines being sold at the Cellar Door and mail.

Brookwood Estate Winery

An authentic small winery experience in the world-renowned Margaret River wine region. Brookwood Estate offers warm country hospitality in a beautiful rural winery setting. Open Tuesday to Saturday for wine tastings and sales. We offer lunch platters, estate made wine, local beer and cider in a relaxed atmosphere. Our staff are all highly knowledgeable and give you a great insight into how small wineries operate, possibly including a tour of our small winery. A great place to visit if you love wine and timeless, sweeping valley views.

My family and I drink Brookwood wine regularly, but hadn't ever eaten at the Winery so while we were on a recent trip to Busselton decided to visit the beautiful grounds of Brookwood for lunch one day. We LOVED it. We probably ordered too much food as we wanted to try all the little tapas style dishes they had to offer. The cheese and meat platter was delicious and easily fed 2 people, with plenty of leftovers for the rest of us to try. Everything we ate was wonderful and fresh, but my favourite was probably the croquettes! Everything paired excellently with their Bubbles and we polished off the whole bottle while enjoying the lovely few from the balcony of the restaurant. We love it here and will definitely be back again!!

From the moment we walked in, the level of service was exceptional. The gentleman working the reception and downstairs area was very good. Very informative. We enjoyed coffee and a wine tasting before heading upstairs for the degustation menu with paired wines on a gorgeous deck table. Food, service, outlook over the vineyards... 10/10. An absolutely wonderful way to spend the afternoon. One of the best in the South West.

Juniper Margaret River

Juniper Estate is one of the original Margaret River vineyards nestled in the picturesque Wilyabrup valley. Established in 1973, it is one of the pioneer vineyards and is dry-grown to this day. The land has a rich history. In the 19th century the road from Busselton to the south ran through what is now the vineyard and forded the Wilyabrup Creek (hence the “Crossing” range of wines). It’s pretty much a hands on operation – the vines are hand-pruned and hand-picked, and the wine hand-made. We process in small batches which are treated separately, evaluated and blended in the barrel hall – a truly boutique operation. We offer complimentary tastings of all our wines at the cellar door, where our experienced staff will give you an insight into our operation. The Juniper family originally owned the land where Juniper Estate is now hence the name Juniper Estate. Robert Juniper who was a famous Western Australian artist was commissioned by us to paint the Juniper Estate label.

Our French Style nougat is the ultimate more-ish treat. Hand made using our family recipe, our nougat comes is a range of flavours from traditional Cranberry & Pistachio, to Honey & Toasted Almond, to Rum & Raisin, as well as our decadent chocolate coated range. As a family we have been making nougat for many years. We look forward to seeing you and sharing this wonderful treat of treats with you.

Lovely experience to see a small nougat company in the middle of Margaret river with so many choices of taste to choose from. We bought 4 with free 1, and the lady is so helpful to help us decide what is good. The location is also quite nice, just next to a small lake and vineyard. Nice to find a good place to appreciate nougat in its original form.

Cullen Wines

Reviewed By RogerR569 - Melbourne, Australia

This is an 'old school' winery, where the focus is on overall quality rather than volume and price. Expect to pay between $25 - $50 for most wines ... there are also many others at higher prices. Many tastings are free although there is a small charge ($5) for tastings of $100 wines ... in our view worth it to compare to others. The wine club is free and flexible (no set ongoing deliveries and discounts increase as volumes increase). Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy your Chardonnay and Cabernet.
