We are vacationing from Florida and going off road was one of the main things I wanted to do on our trip. Nate was really friendly and accommodating! The vehicles were brand new and easy to drive. Some of the trails we went on weren’t marked clearly so we went way further than we should have before we realized it. The woman we called and spoke to said not to worry about it, to take our time and enjoy ourselves. We ended up having these for over the 2 hour limit and had a blast! This is a small mom and pop shop and we love supporting local businesses when we can.

This is THE largest, most well tended, most verdant and useable community public park in Arizona. The Verde River is visually accessible from several spots in the park, in addition to the "duck lagoons" that are home to thousands of migrating water fowl. There are several well maintained trails around the lagoon and locals are found fishing there just about year round. The "Frisbee golf" course is in a beautiful wooded area giving it quiet the challenge for the sports enthusiast as well as for state wide tournaments. the "temporary RV and camping sites" are in high demand because of the consistently clean individual sites, the reasonable rates and quiet. A well trained personable staff makes using the part a pleasure. The "per day" and annual pass are more than worth the money.

Clemenceau Heritage Museum

An interesting museum. Seems to be a former house turned school. Originally owned by a Frenchman, Colonel Clemenceau and bought by his friend Mr Douglas when he fell on hard times. The museum has a bit of bio info on the founder and also Mr Douglas. The museum has info on the origins of Cottonwood and mining in the area. Also, artefacts from 1920s/30s onwards, such as domestic appliances, business and telecoms equipment, bit of jewellery, clothing. And there's a school room. There's also a fab railway museum built 25 years ago by enthusiasts displaying the 7 railway companies that operated here. The museum is run very pleasant and knowledgeable volunteers. Admission is free but donations are welcomed, suggest a minimum of $7-8 would be in keeping with local ones.

I got to ride solo with “grandpa” and had an amazingly relaxed ride with great convo about everything and anything! Horses are well loved and healthy and it shows. I did a standard 90 minute trail ride because I was solo but they have other options if 2 or more. Just 30 mins from Sedona. Make it a day and explore the park (you have to pay $7 to get in anyways) or venture to nearby Jerome after.

Immaculate Conception Catholic Church

Went to Mass here and saw one of most beautiful churches we' ever seen. We travel a lot and try to go to a different church every Sunday. This church was probably second to none.
