Nice promenade along the sandy beach with the odd bar/restaurant along the way. Some lovely houses to look at on the other side of the road. Lots of dog walkers and cyclists as well.

La Playa de Sitges

Reviewed By forevertraveling247 - Wexford, Ireland

The beach in Sitges is beautiful, even in March when it’s chilly. It was nice in the early spring because it was quiet and the town felt so sleepy and peaceful. There are lots of delicious cafes and restaurants right along the beach, and you feel so relaxed!

On the top of a little hill, looking over the sea and the village. Nice architecture. Romantic lightning in the evening. An icon of Sitges.

Masia Freixa

The Masia Freixa is a building inspired by Gaudi and built by architect Lluis Muncunill i Parellada between 1905 and 1910. It is built on the structure of an old textile mill owned by industrialist Josep Freixa, who later converted it into his family residence. Of interest are the rounded cross-sections and the use of the parabolic arch, which make the building one of the treasures of the city’s Modernist Heritage. The City Council bought the farm in 1959 and its gardens became the city’s first public park. Located right in the middle of the Parc Sant Jordi, at present it is home to city council offices and the Tourist Office.

Platja de Ribes Roges

Reviewed By zenwoman35 - Utrecht, The Netherlands

Where can you find a beach these days, in Spain, easily accessible, on foot, by bike or car and public transport, next to the gorgeous boulevard, with amenities like showers and toilets, plenty of space, a lovely gently sloping seabed, a volleyball field, and only 3 beach bars? It's here. The beach gets cleaned every day, and is simply a joy for a relaxed day, or just to pop out every day for an hour or so. My favourite beach!
