What to do and see in Costa Blanca, Valencian Country: The Best Sightseeing Tours

June 15, 2021 Alice Mieles

Costa Blanca is the name given to Alicante's coastline in Spain, which stretches over 200 kilometers. It is an incredibly popular holiday destination for tourists, because of the marvelous weather and beaches. Costa Blanca is family friendly, thanks to the huge range of activities available there from beaches and golf to museums and parks. There are the beaches, such as Los Náufragos in Torrevieja with its volleyball nets, golden sands and Blue Flag status, or smaller beaches like Serragrosa with its crystal waters, ideal for swimmers. But there are also golf courses (particularly the Villaitana club de golf near Benidorm) and watersports facilities and cultural sites like museums and galleries, such as the La Asegurada Municipal Museum in Alicante which has extensive collections of Spanish art. You will need a couple of weeks on the Costa Blanca just to scratch the surface of its entertainment potential.

We hade a fantastic time with Samuel, he guided us like a pro to the beautiful caves that can only be reached via kayak. At any time we felt relaxed and comfortable, the tempo was perfectly adjusted to our (very limited) experience as kayakers. Samuel provided some snacks and we had a picknick in the most fantastic place. Thanks again! Highly recommend this

We will travel the Costa Blanca by road until we enter the Alicante mountain. A natural border takes us to a totally different landscape in just a few kilometers. Historical territory that gave rise to the birth of the Arab warrior whose legend is one of the origins of the Moors and Christians festival. Towns such as La Nucía, Polop, Callosa d´en Sarriá, Benimantell or Guadalest itself, are integrated into the landscape sprouting from the mountain itself. Stop at Polop de la Marina, the town where Gabriel Miró spent so many summers, authentic and local, we will drink water from its natural source. Then to Guadalest and visit one of the most visited and most beautiful places in Spain. We finish at the Fuentes del Algar, a series of natural pools and waterfalls that allow you to cool off in a unique setting. After the sources we return and end of visit. recommended comfortable footwear. Swimwear and footwear suitable for rocks (optional for bathing in the fountains).

Inclusions: Private transportation, Air-conditioned vehicle, WiFi on board, Bottled water
