What to do and see in Costa Blanca, Valencian Country: The Best Horseback Riding Tours
Costa Blanca is the name given to Alicante's coastline in Spain, which stretches over 200 kilometers. It is an incredibly popular holiday destination for tourists, because of the marvelous weather and beaches. Costa Blanca is family friendly, thanks to the huge range of activities available there from beaches and golf to museums and parks. There are the beaches, such as Los Náufragos in Torrevieja with its volleyball nets, golden sands and Blue Flag status, or smaller beaches like Serragrosa with its crystal waters, ideal for swimmers. My Husband (who pretends he's not fussed on horses, but loves it really!) Booked a 1hr30 trail ride. We emailed Gabi who described what they offer for visitors who are not staying over. He did ask us to email closer to our stay as they seem to make plans for rides closer to the time and not too far in advance. My husband is a beginner, but the horses were very safe and happily walked along with no fuss. The 'Spanish way' of riding was explained to us and off we went. Our guide was called Sina, she was really friendly and chatted to us, answering questions about the horses and the area. The horses are clearly happy and healthy, well cared for which is the most important thing. I am sure we would have had a canter along the trail, but we decided to take it slow for my husband. I make sure he practises so we can do it next time! Thanks very much for a really lovely afternoon.
