Corrales is a village in Sandoval County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 8,329 at the 2010 Census. With proximity to the Rio Grande, the village was founded for agricultural purposes. The Rio Grande Bosque on the eastern edge of the village provides refuge for native animals and plants. The village fights hard to maintain its rural character in light of being surrounded by the rapidly expanding cities of Rio Rancho and Albuquerque.

It was a pleasure to attend Jane Butel's Perfect Pies class. Each of the six recipes was creative, diverse, and delicious. Jane is truly a professional! Her class included the history of various ingredients, tips regarding measuring, and hints regarding texture, etc. Jane was well prepared and facilitated the class--in her own kitchen--with poise and grace. Thanks to her oversight and high expectations, every pie was a huge success. It was truly a lovely evening! And, I can't wait to replicate the lemon meringue pie that my partner and I made in class.

An excellent slice of New Mexico in this delightful home. Our guide, Ethan, was extremely knowledgable and made the tour a fascinating journey into the history of the house, its varied owners, the architecture (much of the materials reclaimed from abandoned buildings) and the area at large. Highly recommended.

The Old San Ysidro Church is a classic example of New Mexico Hispanic religious architecture from the 18th & 19th centuries. Constructed of adobe in 1869. Listed on the State Register of Cultural Properties & the National Register of Historic Places. De-sanctified in 1961, today it hosts art shows, music programs, is a lovely wedding venue, and much more. Docent tours most Sundays in summer 1-4pm.

This little gem of a brewery is tucked away in A quaint village north and west of ABQ, Corrales is a small farm village....The story goes that the owner moved to the NW to master the art of Belgian brews....they are just beginning to reopen and have a lovely patio. Dog friendly, casual and food truck eateries... the name means from scratch! Try their pearl haggard for starters! Take some with you!!! You won’t be able to find it where you come from!!!!
