Harmony Acres Ranch

If you’re visiting Sedona…squeeze this is on your to do list. My boyfriend and I visited Sedona for the first time this past weekend. We did many common tourist activities and found ourselves with no plans for about half of a day. We looked on Airbnb Activities and found Harmony Acres Farm. I love animals so I quickly convinced my boyfriend that we had to go check it out. We booked a private tour and made our way out to the farm. The way there is full of wineries and great views. Once we got there, we were greeted by Holly & her daughter and three very cute puppies. Holly does an incredible job with the animals and made sure to weed out any hostile or “mean” animals for the sake of her visitors and other animals at the farm. This was very comforting to know, as animals can be unpredictable and scary. We felt comfortable throughout the entire tour. We got to spend a lot of time with each animal (and of course give them treats). Holly took awesome photos of us along the way, which she forwarded to us after the tour. We were also very lucky to meet kids (baby goats) that were just 1 day old! At the end of the tour, Holly let us choose who we wanted to spend some extra time with - so we chose the baby goats! We got some awesome one-on-one time with them - they were so cute! We had such an amazing time and we learned a lot about the animals!

Page Springs Cellars

I visited Page Springs Cellars for a wine tasting and lunch. I sat at the outside bar, which had a view of the vineyards, and tried the Red Flight. I enjoyed the dry reds and the conversation I had with the server. For lunch, I had the curry chicken salad sandwich and a salad, which was delicious. Bonus was the fun music they were playing on the balcony--just loud enough to hear, but not too loud that people couldn't have conversations. As my title says, it was a lovely visit. I would recommend Page Springs Cellars to others!

From the moment you drive down into this lovely ranch it captures your heart. It is everything a family could want in a wedding venue. A place for families to come together for fun and unity. This is a place to recharge the batteries. A place to unplug from the real world. My daughters wedding was perfection. We had a shortened guest count due to covid 19. This is the perfect place with lots of outdoor spaces to keep social distancing in place. Everyone thought it was the best wedding place they had ever been to. I highly recommend this place. Eden is a delight to work with.

Come for the fish education - stay for the bird watching! We spent two wonderful mornings walking along the clean trails (many of them shaded and cool) and along the creek bank. We went with the hope of seeing a bald eagle, which we didn't, and we left with hundreds of photographs of other birds and some wonderful memories. We had several nice chats with others along the way, yet it certainly was not a crowded area. Plenty of parking. Leashed dogs are permitted. The trails are flat, but the ground is not paved so I'm not sure if a wheelchair or stroller could be used. Truly outstanding public-private facility.

Agave Highlands

AGAVE HIGHLANDS Golf Course is the new name of the old Verde Santa Fe. the course changed hands in August of 2018.

Reviewed By Travel0n5

We enjoyed the challenge of target golf on this course. They make a wise use of fairways and “open space” to create a challenging round. The main fairways and greens are well maintained. Brown “open space” areas are smart water saving ideas used at a lot of courses these days. It would be nice if the cart paths were not so rutted. It made for a wild ride in the gas powered golf carts! They really took us back to the days of the old Disneyland Autopia ride! Don’t be put off by reviews saying the course is in terrible shape or too expensive. Twilight prices are an excellent bargain. Brown “open space” areas are part of the strategy of the round.
