Kostas, our hero taxi driver, was there from the beginning. As soon as I arrived in Corinth at the train station, I was lucky enough to get in this cab, which happened to be Korinthos Taxi transfers. Instead of selling any services or excursions at this point , Kostas was courteous enough to get me straight to my hotel at a reasonable price, with a very smiley welcome. But since he was such a warm person, at the end he gave me his business card and it wasn’t until the next day we needed to get a taxi to Corinth Canal. On this trip he instead took us on an excursion on demand and was very knowledgable of the tour sites on Corinth becoming more like our Tour guide and personal driver. At each and every stop, he waited for us and got us to the next tour stop. All for amazing prices. Since that day, Kosdas was able to get us to all of our other activities no problem (wedding, pharmacy etc) and easy to get hold of when needed. Needless to say, it was reliability, efficiency, trust and personality that gives them the 5 stars!

It was a very unique and thematic tour in an active snail farm. We chose this tour in the area because it is something unusual to find and of course we learned a lot about alternative agriculture. The food we tried was pretty tasty and finally the tour was combined with some local wine tasting (of a very good QUALITY). One of the guides was one of the business owners and she was explaining how she started her business. It is highly recommended. I would repeat it when back in the region. Last, it was children friendly.

Temple of Apollo

Reviewed By BillPNo1 - Friendswood, United States

The Temple of Apollo is the most visible and obvious monument, in Ancient Corinth. Towering above the ruins of the ancient city, it can be seen from almost any vantage point - something which must have been true even 2,000 years ago. It is impressive, even in its remains and ruins and gives one a sense of just how impressive and monumental it was to the citizens and inhabitants of ancient Corinth. While the worship of the pagan god Apollo has long passed away, the remaining vestiges of his importance at the time are manifest in the magnificent remains of the Temple of Apollo to this day..
