You must do it. Incredible views looking over the White Mtns and across the valley to the Town of Conway, NH There is an auto road choice over climbing the back side of the trail to the top of the White Horse Ledge During the Summer rock climbers come up the ledge right in front of you as you are viewing from the top. I come here when visiting the area as often as possible (over the past 40 years) and love to take visitors here. It's an easy hike, a well-maintained trail, and a beautiful waterfall. I never tire of taking pictures here. It is uphill of course and much of the path is gravel.

After a short easy hike, the woods open up to a serene lake with a beach, picnic tables and grills. The Lake is surrounded by views of limestone and granite mountains. The hiking trail through the woods around the lake is flat, easy and peaceful. There are campsites along the way but we encountered very few hikers. It was a peaceful enjoyable hike.
