The entire experience far exceeded our expectations. Claudiu went above and beyond to ensure that our entire day was eventful. With only two days notice he was able to fulfill our entire request and did so with such an amazing personal touch. We did not just gain knowledge of the sites we visited but also about the culture, people, and food of Romania. We now know exactly what to order as we continue our travels! Not only did Claudiu do an amazing job making sure that we had adequate and well informed guides, but he provided a driver that made us feel so safe. We look forward to returning to Romania in the future to learn even more from Claudiu, but until then we use all the tips he provided us with to ensure the next few days go better than planned. We highly recommend using Claudiu as a guide and he added so much to our time in Brasov. It is hard to believe he could fit all that he did into one day. So worth every minute and the tour did not disappoint!

Gabriel was our guide and drove us on the day seeing both Bran and Peles castles. He was on time collecting us from our hotel and drove us safely to the castles. On the way we stopped off at a lovely restaurant that he recommended for lunch. He was a great guide, there with us all the time to answer any questions we had and take photos of our group. Even though we were over our time schedule with Gabriel, he even took us to the town where the Black Church was, so that we could see it. We had a great day, thank you Gabriel.

We had the pleasure of Andrei on the Bran Castle and Brasov tour. He was extremely knowledgeable, very interesting and great fun. His laid back but professional attitude made for a perfect day that had structure but he was still able to accommodate any request. I spoke to him about returning to Romania in the future and he offered his services to help with the planning. I consider him not only a great tour guide but also a good friend. Autumn is a great time to visit Transylvania. One of the highlights for me was the mountain roads and seeing the bright autumn colours in the forests. The scenery is spectacular! Bogdan is an excellent tour guide who entertained me with his stories and knowledge of the castles. He is able to explain the history of the region and to answer any questions. Due to COVID, the castles were not crowded and the lines were short. The cold misty weather when I visited Bran Castle added to the spooky atmosphere.

I connected with Secret Romania thru trip.me. Florin and I worked together to put together a 9 day trip with a driver/tour guide. Florin was so easy to work with. He accommodated everything I asked for. He responded so quickly when I sent emails even though we are 10 hours apart. He picked us up from the airport and took us to get something to eat before we settled into our hotel. In the morning we met our tour guide Ana. She was amazing! We drove around the country together for 9 days. She knew the history of everything, wherever we went. She even added a few off the beaten path stops that most people never see. She was so friendly, funny and happy. We had a trip that was far greater than we ever expected! We have traveled a lot, but must say this was one of our favorite trips! I highly recommend Romania and without reservation I highly suggest Florin, Ana and Secret Romania if you are going there. Many of our friends have put this on their bucket list after seeing all our pictures. I told them Secret Romania and Florin Preda are the only way to go!! Cant say enough great things about them. Just trust me! Use them!

We started off from Bucharest to go to the Salt Mines "Salina Slanic Prahova". It was a very unique experience to visit these huge excavation hundreds of meters below the surface. We then took a short break at a lovely restaurant nearby before heading to the Mogosoaia Palace. This property is an astonishing mixture of influences in the architecture and gardens. Florin has been an excellent guide during that day-long trip. He was a true gentleman, telling us about the history, anecdotes and figures of each place a professional and kind way. Would recommend touring with him whether you are completely new to Romania or willing to know more about this beautiful country.
