beatifull place, you can go with family or friends and enjoy this natural hot Springs, while you see a waterfall (you can also get into the river and back to the hot water).
There are lockers, toilets and changing rooms. There ir also a little coffeshop, but there is no close place to be, so if its cold prepare to change and be in the cold weather when you get out of the hot water.

Having stayed in touristy and commercialized Pucon for six days, Lican Ray was a breath of fresh air. I was there in April, in between the summer and skiing seasons so the town was practically empty but the weather was warm enough for sunbathing on the volcanic Beaches in Lican Ray off the Calafquèn Lake. There are two Beaches in the town - Playa Grande and Playa Chico - and both are pretty in their own rights. To get to Lican Ray from Pucon, take the JAC bus (30 mins) to Villarica and then change to any bus headed to Coñaripe (another 30 mins). The bus terminals in Villarica are all located along the same street.
Tip: Go during the off-peak season of April for warm Sunshine and zero tourists.

The place is beautiful, it has nice views. However, it is not well designed: the water is barely warm in the only two top off pools, and toilets are far away, meaning that in cold weather nobody wants to get in the cold … and I’m sure is all in there. The only warm spots are in wooden boxes near the lockers (?), surrounded by plywood walls.
Restaurant personnel was extremely nice, although the menu was very simple and the place it was quite cold.
At the entrance, you will receive a pamphlet with “rules”, but nobody enforces them. There are “guards” but they are scared to tell parent to calm down their children. So be ready for splashing water and screams… all day long.

We went to the hot Springs in the night after dark. The hot Springs are nice, but I would recommend to go before it gets dark because there is bad lighting there and also there is very cold air in the night, exposing you for a cold when you get up from the water.

Turismo Linoico

Reviewed By pxcanales - Santiago, Chile
