The botanical garden is a small portion of Franklin Park, so you have the opportunity to wander the grounds outside the botanical garden in addition to enjoying the outside gardens and indoor exhibits of the botanical garden itself. There's a very nice children's garden, a small formal garden area with a beautiful sculpture, an area devoted to community garden education, a conservatory with a variety of exhibits, a glass blowing demonstration, an excellent gift shop and a cafe. June 1, 2019 marked the start of a Chihuly exhibit that will be throughout the garden areas until the end of March, 2020. We just missed the Chihuly exhibit, but we will return to see it!

We visited th Riffe Center the other night for the play, "C.S.Lewis: Reluctant Convert" and so totally enjoyed it! While waiting to go upstairs to the theater, we had an opportunity to view in part the current exhibition in the main lobby, Looking Out: Creative Works by Ohio Prison Inmates | December 19, 2017 – January 28, 2018 All art was created from recycled materials by inmates in several Ohio prison facilities. We were amazed at the creativity and talent coming from behind bars. The play didn't disappoint either! A one man play depicting the conversion of C. S. Lewis and how he arrived. Just a brilliant performance by Max McLean! Entertaining, funny, kept my attention, and left me silent as the lights dimmed at the end. Nice venue, great seats no matter where you sat, and a very intimate theater with Q and A briefly after the production Nice little snack bar with candy and beverages before the play started. Parking just across the street under the Statehouse made parking easily accessible, but get there early as traffic was a bit tight with everyone arriving at the same time as Ohio Theater as well.
