The ashram and it’s surrounds are beautifully maintained, soaked in the natural beauty of the Western Ghats and Velliangiri mountains and have incredible spots like the Dhyana Linga for meditation and inspiring AdiYogi statute. There are free Yoga classes offered daily, and also free AUM chanting classes. A dip in the waters of the Suryakund and sitting for 15mins in the Dhyana Linga’s majestic presence will leave you feeling like a new being. And if you are like some my friends who are planning to come to India for the first time, to visit Isha, come along without fear, English is widely spoken all the way from Coimbatore airport to here, the atmosphere is safe and easy to blend into.

This temple is located near by aliyar dam. It is a very peaceful place. It has yoga center and rooms can be booked for lodging. Nice place to visit and learn yoga and our cultural values ffrom Maharishi.

It was surprising to find such a museum in Coimbatore, known more for its textile prowess rather than being home to such a unique idea. Full marks to great visionaries who envisaged such a great thought and presented it to world. One can see many vintage automobiles, right from early Benz Motorwagen (1886), Ford T (1908), to Indian Mass Market car Nano. The Museum is categorised by the countries in which cars were made. Many early engines used in iconic models are on display and one has to just pause and admire the vision and perseverance of these great luminaries who played monumental role in growth and evolution of automobile industry.
