Bibra Lake Regional Playground

Water games for hot days and plenty of activities for all ages kids. Best of all its located next to our beautiful wetlands and you will always see some local wildlife. Please be careful when driving around the area - the are often bandicoots, turtles or lizards on the roads and they cannot move fast enough to save themselves from cars.

It is a rare thing to see a shipwreck about 10 metres from the shore. Definitely easy to swim to on a calm day. Quite an interesting experience. Do need to be a decent swimmer.

Manning Stairs

Reviewed By KylieIsTravelling - Perth, Australia

I’ve seen many people use Manning Stairs for fitness, running up and down the stairs. I took the track behind the Azelia Ley Homestead Museum to get to the top of the stairs and the amazing view from the lookout at the top, and then walked down the stairs to get to my car. The best part about the stairs is the lookout at the top for the views. Worthwhile if you’re in the area - I wouldn’t make a special trip out here to see it.

Manning Park

Reviewed By RonandGayeH - Perth, Australia

We are so lucky to live so close to this wonderful oasis in the Manning Park precinct of Hamilton Hill. The city of Cockburn do a wonderful job of maintaining this superb natural space to the benefit of so many people. The birdlife is spectacular, the trees magnificent, and the wetlands an asset that must be preserved. The only negative is the number of selfish dog owners who ignore the well displayed rules and allow their animals to roam free, often chasing the permanent residents (the hundreds of birds of many species).

Cockburn ARC

Cockburn ARC is the City of Cockburn's leading edge recreation and aquatic centre, unlike anything else in Perth. We have 9 water areas, 3 waterslides, a 6 court stadium, 3 group fitness studios and a huge health club space.

Reviewed By ericpaulgoldie - Perth, Australia

Perth’s newest water park Cockburn ARC is insane! Featuring three amazing water slides a huge area for children, basketball courts, and four pools. It’s fantastic value for money and a great family day out. Rather than drive, take the bus or train to Cockburn Central and avoid the traffic. Actually there's way more, but we didn't get time, so we have planned to return. The staff are friendly and professional, plus the cafe makes a mean latte.
