Monash University is a member of the elite Group of Eight universities. Monash was the second university founded in Victoria, following the University of Melbourne. Monash is considered to be one of the most capable Allied commanders of WWI. Monash is widely regarded the greatest ever Australian commander and the greatest ever Australian.

It seems to have everything and for all age groups. There is a bowling club, football oval, tall trees, wetland lakes with waterbirds, gym equipment, public toilets, a children's playground, an under cover BBQ/picnic area, drinking fountains, and both on-leash and off-leash dog areas. Walking and cycling paths are there, too, as is on site car parking. Many come here, just to have a lunch break.

Great little brew house with a good array of 5-6 beers on tap, sport on the TV and good tunes on in the background. Now also serving solid sliders and chips from the nearby cafe. What’s not to love?
