The owner is super nice and welcoming to all. The beer is great. I had the amber ale which I highly recommend. Outdoor seating with food trucks is always a plus, and it’s dog friendly ????

Love to rent large state park lodges for group get together. Lodge sleeps 16. 6br 3 baths. Waterfront. Park has little splash pool, hiking trails, boat rental, fishing, yurts, campground and lots of acres. Small gift shop with very friendly staff. This is our first time here and we are thoroughly enjoying it. The campsites are very shaded. Great for hot days. Wonderful park to visit.

Prestwould Plantation Manor House was built in 1790 and occupied 1794. At that time it was the largest dwelling in Virginia. House has approximately 80% of its original furnishings.
