An education around every corner. This museum is immaculately maintained and has wonderful self guided signs throughout. The feeling is cool, quiet and peaceful. They have worked hard to create this space. Plan on spending a couple of hours if you want to stroll through....longer if you want to read every sign. Every question you might have about copper and this museum is answered somewhere within these walls. Loved it! There's few places to eat while in Clarkdale. However we took a stroll around this cute little town. We went back to historic Cottonwood for lunch. There's a lot of places to stop there.

10-12 Lounge

The 10-12 Lounge has been in the same location since 1959. We did a complete rebuild and the new interior is nothing like the previous one. Comfortable leather seating, a beautiful bar, large screen televisions, and cozy booths await you. Big city class with a small town atmosphere. We have live music every Saturday night starting at 8pm and on Sundays at 5pm. Enjoy your cocktails on the beautiful back patio or inside at the cleanest bar you've ever experienced. We don't have our own kitchen but we do offer food from the Boathouse Grill next door. Great food, great company, great service.

Chateau Tumbleweed

Chateau Tumbleweed is a collaboration of four friends – two husband-and-wife teams – who, after working more than 30 combined years for other Arizona wineries, recently left their “day jobs” to focus on their own project. We have a great friendship, a penchant for absurdity and complementary skills in vineyard management, winemaking, sales and administration. We crafted our first wine – only three barrels – in 2011. After three vintages of making our wine at the Four-Eight Wineworks Winemaker’s Cooperative in Camp Verde (2012-2014), we took the plunge, purchased the building we’d been eying for the previous year and converted it into one of Clarkdale’s first commercial wineries and tasting rooms.

I saw CT online with the Verde Valley tour and it said worth a stop, so we did Our host LOU which we want to adopt, was the best. Let us do a VIP switch around on the tasting and even went back and brought out some from the back room... Was a fun time and great atmosphere. If u r in the area, please stop and enjoy. And yes, we purchased some reds! Our covid safe tasting kinda sucked, but it was what it was. At least the wine was good DaveB

Southwest Wine Center

Wow are we lucky to have the Southwest Wine Center at Yavapai College! Not only do they have award winning, yummy wines, the wine is made by the students and many made from the vineyard right there. There is a full 2 year program to learn all the basics about producing wine. They learn everything from planting the vineyard to harvesting to producing to working a tasting room. They have some exceptional wines, beautiful views of the vineyard, the mountains, red rocks of Sedona and a very comfortable tasting area. It's a bit of a unknown to many, even locals, so usually not crowded, at not yet that is. :)

A delightful small museum, volunteers were very engaging. Especially the ex AT&SF division manager. The volunteers have done a nice job in still remote village.
