Our family camping getaway this year. Loved it. We had a caravan, mobile home and 3 tents. The wildlife was fantastic. We saw a massive lizard, sea hare and the rocks and shells were plentiful. No showers however the ocean was spectacular. Drop toilets were clean and didn't smell. We had a wonderful few days together.

Lovely area for families and friends to have some outdoor time close to the town. The park has a water way with ducks, which amuse adults and children alike. There are undercover areas - some have bbq's, and play areas for children, plus amenities. What more could you want for a relaxing time. There is even a gazebo where wedding ceromonies are often performed (weddings are also just in the park not in the gazebo)

You need to book through internet (covid rules) but easy, and means you don't drive for hours and find the campsite full. Road in OK for smaller vans, mainly tenting and small motorhomes. No showers, compost toilet, fireplaces, and a camp kitchen with gas BBQ. The walks are a real pleasure through the rainforest.

A great walk to the picnic area and Iluka Bluff lookout. Lots of birds and moss-covered logs. It was very peaceful and a very easy walk, in fact, a few people were using it as their run.

We drove down to Spooky Beach and were lucky to get a park. Really nice beach which was quite calm when we were there. Have no idea where they get the name from as it certainly isn’t Spooky. There is a Walk way that goes through the Literal Rainforest through to the Blue Pools.

Iluka is a must visit. It is very restful and beautiful with plenty to offer. There are walks in world heritage rain forests, beautiful beaches, plenty of swimming spots on the Clarence River and if fishing is your thing lots of spaces for that. It is so quiet there you will love it. Only half an hours drive to Yamba.
