Lake Claremont is a wetland within the Town of Claremont. The lake has considerable conservation value, with lots of wildlife above and below water. Considerable work has gone into making Lake Claremont a pleasant place to visit. The Lake has a bird observation platform. Lake Claremont is particularly rich in birdlife. The Lake has two new children's playgrounds, one for toddlers and the larger one designed for upper primary schppl-aged children.

The Goods Shed is a heritage structure in the middle of Claremont, near the Claremont Railway Station. . It's actually an old railway building that was used for handling railway freight. It's also an art gallery that aims to develop links with the community The coffee shop is a good place for a stimulating cup of java.

Claremont Quarter

Love it, this complex has a great range of the more upmarket style of boutiques and other shops. Well laid out, good parking and plenty of great places from restaurants to the more casual cafes to eat at. Great place to shop for something nice or get a bite to eat.

Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park is a lawn cemetery. It has manicured lawns and well-shaped trees. Many relatives of the deceased like to think their departed are resting here; it's easy to visit; native animals, such as kangaroos, can often be found grazing.

Bendat Basketball Centre

Bendat Basketball Centre is home to the Perth Lynx basketball team and is the training facility for the Perth Wildcats. Alongside basketball, many sports such as netball, badminton and volleyball are played on the training courts.

The Bendat Basketball Center, also known as the WA Basketball Center, is a great facility for basketball players of all abilities. Basketball is very popular in WA and the home team, the Perth Wildcats, have done very well in the National Basketball League (NBL), winning several pennants. The Perth Lynx, the women's professional team, also use center. They have done well, but not quite as well as the men. Other sports also use this multi-purpose center. The people of WA are fortunate to have this marvelous stadium' it's a great community asset.
