What to do and see in Ciutadella, Balearic Islands: The Best Hidden Gems Things to do

October 3, 2021 Renato Branum

You’ll find 17th-century, Italian-style buildings and an interesting old cathedral here. However, many travelers are drawn to Ciudadela’s lively nightlife and fiestas, including the Processo dels Tres Tocs on January 17 and a celebration of Sant Joan, the town’s patron saint, on June 23–24. They feature dancing, parades and pomada, a drink combining gin and lemon.

What a great place to visit. Everything seemed so mysterious. We were here in the autumn so there was not so many people around and it was quite warm - perfect for visiting this site.

Crystal clear water that will worth your hike (actually it's more like a long walk since it's very flat). The beach is not big so make sure to go early to get a nice spot and also to spot pink beach.

Cala del Pilar is a wonderful beach reached by a 45 minute walk through beautiful woodland. Car parking is in a designated park. We visited on a spring day in January, There were less than 10 cars in the car park but does get very busy mid summer.
