Astra is the best place to get your night started in ios with funky house tunes that everyone loves from norweigan dj Jani, hands down the best cocktails on the island, in particular their espresso martinis and the famous Moscow mule which is a must try for anyone starting a night out in ios!

Foiniki has been operating since 2008 in the mainland of Ios as a cafe-bar and an exhibition space. From early in the morning we offer a wide variety of coffee and tea, snacks and the homemade pies of Elsie. Later you can try the special cocktails of Themis and a variety of greek microbreweries. You can visit us every day from 8:30 to 15:00 and from 17:00 until late at night!

This venue is amazing. With its two large infinity pools, artworks and fabulous spaces, it is a great place to enjoy the Aegean Sunset. As sunset approaches there is a sense of anticipation created by a musical score and finishing with a spectacular demonstration on the edge of the infinity pool, I won't spoil the surprise. It has an entry charge of 10EURO which includes a drink. Drink prices were a little more than other bars but did include access to the pool. Food is also available but we did not have any. This Bar has designated areas for VIPs and other areas for the ordinary folk, we were not able to discover what earns VIP status, however most of those roped off areas were empty. Despite this segregation, it is still a must see if staying on Ios.

We reserved a table late afternoon and ended up with picture postcard views, from a more sheltered area of the bar. It was out of this world! It definitely has the wow factor. Staff are very friendly. They certainly serve unique flavoured cocktails. Watching the sunset to chilled music was the perfect end to a day.

We visited this bar most evenings during our time in Ios! Wonderful atmosphere, great music that you can help select and friendly service from Milly and her Sister. Highly recommended.
