Located right in the heart of Chitre, this is probably one of the best things to see here. The church is lit up beautifully in the night, but it's well worth paying a visit at daytime, to see the beautiful interior. The mahogany wood that's used widely inside really gives it a nice touch.

During our stay in Chitre Town we booked a couple of tours to visit the Nature wonders and historical towns of Azuero. Cubita tours took us to some of the most beautiful places we've been so far in America like the Traditional little towns of Los Santos and Parita with colonial Churches and colorful houses, the small parks right by the churches are just gorgeous. we also visited the Quema Canyon and Bucaro Beach where we had some spectacular views of nature and relaxing time. Thanks you guys for everything, you are doing a great job!! Recommended 100%.

Within the past month one of the major tenants moved out and relocated in Santiago, El Rey grocery store. Now there are only a couple of major tenants, Arrocha and Madison Dept. Store and the McDonalds. A restaurant on the third floor with a large play area for kids, second and first floors are half vacant locations.

The movies use to be in english with spanish subtitles but now when I have checked are voiceovered in spanish. They end up not being the same movies.
Last time I went people in front and others were talking to much. Even on their cellphones. The manager/owner gave 2 free passes but have not returned. I can watch the same movie in english online before the theatre shows it.

I eat regularly at this hotel's restaurant. I inquired and found out the casino had an elevator as it is located on the 2nd floor. Because it is new, it has a clean smell, many slot machines, a few blackjack tables, roulette and at the other end a sports type restaurant.

Records and findings of indigenous people living in this area thousands of years ago. The park is attempting to restore the land after being over grazed and farm. Now natural plant and tree cover has been coming back. Also, field research are finding evidence of the historical habitants.

This is the local mosque in Chitre. I drive by this building several times a week when in Chitre. Usually in the early evening I can see several men talking at the entrance. Later there is a security person in the front of the mosque.
