Not knowing how tough the climb was going to be - we were initially ambivalent as mid 50ers in good shape. However we realized this was not a major concern when we saw elderly individuals with canes who had reached the top! Steps were uneven in places but a handrail was available for 90% of the way. All of this was a moot point when you reach the summit platform and see the incredible view of the Li River and the numerous mountain peaks - just spectacular! Don’t miss it!

This is where the vast spread of this huge city really connects-the true centre of Shanghai.A great view of both sides of the river- the 19th and early 20th century ornamental British and European buildings on one side, and the futuristic boldly designed skyscrapers on the other. No scammers or pickpockets to worry about here,as it's heavily guarded.Nice for a brisk walk during the day, but amazing to stroll and gaze in wonder at night with all the lighting! Keep walking and you'll find the ferry.Its a 10 minute ride to the other side, and only about 2 or 3 rmb per person!Do your research, and find a fancy restaurant or bar looking across the river to relax and finish off the evening. You can't go wrong!

This is indeed one of the nicest place to visit in Shanghai.Though this is not the tallest building in Shanghai,its really worth it.Its an amazing looking building and the views are awesome.The biggest highlight is the glass bottom viewing point..As many other places ,wifi is available in this attraction as well.However we had trouble reading the otp since it was in native language. Note:-Please mind that this is one of the most crowded places in Shangahi.The queues can get really big,and you might end up being in the line for a long time -The washrooms are not very well maintained and better to stay away unless its an emergency.

We arrived via cruise ship in Tianjin and decided to visit this part of the wall as we were being escorted into Beijing, and are so glad that we did. It is nearly a 2 hour drive from the port to the wall, which ended up adding about 1 hour of our overall drive to Beijing, but was so worth it. We stopped near the wall and enjoyed eating at a local countryside restaurant where the food is tasty and plenty and very cheap before walking the wall. This section of the wall is not crowded at all and photos of it rival the ones that we took at other areas of the wall. Glad we decided to take this detour on our trip from Tianjin to Beijing!

This is a big square as the name suggests. Supposedly the largest square in the Asia. This is build on the beach, Clean neat & nicely maintained. Beautified with the lawn, garden & the musical fountain in the nights. This also has amusement park . Adjacent to the beach are available the eateries as well. All in all a very nice place in the evenings to spend good time , alone or in group.

What a magnificent man made bronze statue... Fantastic location, journey to Big Budhha though Ngong Ping 360 via crystal base cable car is amazing .... all peaks that were emerging from fog .... too good !!

The Lingering Garden provides English tour guide for free every hour since 2017. You can also choose to pay for a professional English guide with different guiding route or a guiding machine. On our entire trip to China, The Lingering Gardens at Suzhou, was one of the most memorable places we visited. The extent of the Lingering Gardens is difficult to describe. The Gardens, seemingly, went on and on and there was another lovely fascinating sight around each corner of the winding paths. Meticulously groomed, cleaned (constantly) and maintained, the whole Gardens were beautiful, whether you were looking at rock gardens, winding paths, ponds or fish pools, little bridges, or flowering plants, trees, and shrubs! How could so many things still be in bloom in November? I think my favorite things were the extensive bonzai tree collection in their area. All old (ancient?) and perfectly groomed, they seemed like silent sentinels of the past left for us to view and appreciate now in modern times. Even the bathrooms were works of art and the finest examples of WC's that we saw anywhere during our trip! The entire group decided that the Lingering Gardens WC's were Five-Star! DO NOT miss a visit to the Lingering Gardens if you are anywhere in the area. They are exquisite and I wish that we had several days to more fully explore the Gardens than the too short time that our group tour schedule allowed. The Lingering Gardens was definitely as high as the Great Wall and Terra Cotta Warriors in my esteem!

i took the ride back from the island to the city and upgraded to crystal cabin, the views you get are amazing when you ride past the mountains and get above the sea is also an exiting experience must do when in HK

As part of a Viking Ocean excursion, we visited Gulangyu Island and enjoyed the scenery, Shuzhuang garden, and the piano museum. There is a cultural tradition on the island which also features mansions and impressive European style buildingd and bridges. I have numerous photos of our experience on the island.

I visited a few old towns in China, but this one has to be my favorite one to date. During my time in Lijiang, I didn't even bother going to the city because the old town was so much fun not to mention that the food was incredible. While morning are very quiet as shops open rather late, the evenings were far from boring. The bar street sure made for some nice evenings while the afternoons allowed me and my friend to visit more of Old Town while trying out different food (such as tofu ice cream (don't judge until you try it)), Chinese wraps and of course the flowers cake. As for dinner, the ribs hot pot is fantastic! I shouldn't forget to mention that the buildings are beautiful, and I strongly recommend you check the small alleys as you might be surprised by what you may see.
