Yogachelan in located in the beautiful resort town of Chelan, Washington. The Studio is in the Historic Whaleys Building build in 1914, previously the home to the F.O.E and later Chelan's record store. It went several years unoccupied until 2012 when owner Jean Ashby was ready to bring it back to life. Lynda had been looking for a new space for the studio and though the space was in need of lots of repair she knew this was it. The space is about 900 square feet, has original hard wood floors, 11 foot ceiling, and that amazing brick wall with all its character.

I have been meaning to write this for a while but WOW this was so much fun. This activity was the highlight of the weekend for our group. The teacher/owner was wonderful and kind. She is a super skilled yogi and met us where we were skill level. Our group opted for yoga at a winery, it rained that day and we did it inside which was actually super cozy. It was a gorgeous space and we loved that she incorporated our wine tasting with the yoga poses. I’m going back for a girls weekend next year and we plan to book her again.

Cairdeas is in a comfortable setting, we sat outside while the servers brought us our tastings. It was lovely and comfortable. Both my husband and I ranked as our #1 Winery of the trip (especially the reds) It wasn't cheap since we purchased a couple of bottles, and there was no discount for tastings when you purchase unlike most wineries, but we will enjoy the wine so just a small complaint.

You will feel like you have been transported to a villa along the Cote de Beaune in Burgandy, or to an elegant agriturismo in Vernaccia di San Gimignano. A bottle of Kevin Brown’s 2016 Jolie, a full bodied blend of Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Merlot complimented perfectly Sue’s Chilled Pea, Basil, and Penne Pasta with Herb Roasted Chicken, and my Blackened Chicken Cobb Salad, both dishes from the culinary brilliance of Executive Chef, Holly Brown. Don’t miss the macaroons for dessert! Staff members Chelsea, Farrah, and Skylar made our evening with attentive service, beautiful smiles under their masks, and relaxed conversation.

We just had three relaxing days in Chelan Washington and I would highly recommend it if you are in the area or doing a road trip. The weather (late August) was just perfect and the lake was vast and beautifully clear. The townships of Chelan and Manson are well kept, quaint and picturesque and they have everything you need. The wineries in the area are an added bonus! We will certainly be back.

Amazing waterpark with great slides lazy river cafe and staff. Beautiful location and view. Very clean. Each section has limited people occupancy to respond to people's concerns of covid 19. Too bad they may not reopen:(
